Advertising At CogniTel Jamaica

Advertising at CogniTel Jamaica is very simple, easy and affordable. We aim to get your products & services noticed worldwide for less money. We are currently in the process of building up our own advertising & online shopping network called the Global E-Commerce Center therefore we are seeking individuals, companies, organizations and businesses worldwide that would like to advertise on our website.

Advertisers will be able to have their banners and text links displayed in the E-Commerce Center in order to provide us with a wide variety of products and services for our global visitors to subscribe to and purchase. We have several Advertising Packages available that will sure to meet your advertising needs and budget. They include Basic, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Ultimate. Our lowest monthly advertising rate to place banners and text links in the E-Commerce Center is US$10.

Our Ultimate Package allows you to pay a monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly rate and gives you more advertisement space on our website for less money. Our Basic, Silver, Gold and Platinum Packages can only be purchased on a monthly basis and are for the individuals and businesses who are on a tight advertising budget but would like to maximize their limited advertising dollars.

Advertising Packages

The following is a description of our Advertising Packages.

Banner sizes that we accept are: 468x60, 728x90, 234x60, 125x125, 200x200, 250x250, 450x330, 120x600, 160x600, 120x245, 240x400, 200X90, 180x150, 120x90, and 120x60. Text links must have a title of no more than 80 characters including space and a description of no more than 250 characters excluding space. Failure to comply with these requirements and restrictions will result in your banners becoming distorted when displayed and your text links shortened. Some of your banners may be rotated with banners from other advertisers in 20-second time slots.

* Special Advertising

You can get more space and words to advertise your products and services when you purchase one of our Ultimate Packages. Your ad will be placed on our other pages outside the Global E-Commerce Center. We will dedicate a section of page to place a detailed description of your products, services or website. Your ad should be in text form with a Title of no more than 60 characters, a Description of no more than 1500 characters and the URL and a 468x60 banner.

Advertising Instructions

To have your banners and text links placed on our website please read the following instructions carefully:

• Review the Advertisement Categories listed below and choose the ones that are best related to the ads you want to advertise on our website.

• Visit www.cognitelja.com/advertising-application.html to fill out and submit an application form for advertisement space on our website.

• After submitting the form you will be given the link to the webpage where you will be able to purchase your Advertising Package via Google Checkout using your credit card or prepaid debit card. You can also make payment via PayPal, AlertPay, VirtaPay, Western Union, MoneyGram and Bank Wire Transfer.

• After you have made your purchase you should send a submission e-mail to our Advertising Department at admin@cognitelja.com with the subject being "Advertising Payment". Your e-mail should include the following:

  • Full Name and/or Business Name

  • Your Identification Number if you have previously advertise with us

  • Home or Business Mailing Address

  • Home, Business, Mobile Telephone Numbers & Fax Number (if any)

  • The Name of the Advertising Package that you purchased

  • Banners with URLs and text ads with titles, descriptions & URLs

  • All the categories you want your ads to be placed in.

  • Google Checkout, PayPal or AlertPay e-mail receipts forwarded in the e-mail. If you are a VirtaPay user forward the details of your payment in the History section of your account.

  • Your AkertPay e-mail address. For refund purposes.

  • The banners and text ads that you want for FREE. For Gold, Platinum & Ultimate Packages only.

Advertising Terms & Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions for placing your banners and text links on our website. Please read carefully.

• Within 10 business days after you send the submission e-mail to our Advertising Department, your banners and text links will be displayed in the categories you requested. Banners and text links that are not in English, pornographic in nature or advertising illegal products, services and activities will not be accepted.

• With all packages except for Basic & Silver you can get up to 5 FREE banners and/or 5 FREE text links.

• We will send you an e-mail notification when we have placed your ads on our website. You will be given an Identification Number, the links to all the web pages on our website where your ads appear and the expiry date of your ads.

• Your banners and text links will expire approximately every 30 days, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months after we send you the e-mail notification. We will send you an invoice one-week before your ads expire. On the day your ads expire they will be removed from all our web pages within the following 24 hours unless you continue to make your monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly payment on our before the expiry date.

• To make your monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or yearly payment visit our Payment Page again. You can purchase the same package or you can purchase a different package along with any additional, banners, text links, categories and advertising periods you want to add to your package.

• You should send a submission e-mail to our Advertising Department after every payment you make. This should be done if you paid for a different Advertising Package, want to have new ads placed on our website or want to change any aspects of the ads you previously submitted. Your older banners and text links will be given the same expiry date as any new banners and text links you submit. Please remember to put your Identification Number in the submission e-mail so we can process your ads in a timely manner.

• If you purchased the Platinum or Ultimate Packages you can cancel your package within 10 business days. Basic, Silver and Gold packages cannot be cancelled. If you cancel your package within 10 business days you will get 75% of your money back via AlertPay or 80% of your money back via VirtaPay within another 10 business days. To cancel your package, simply e-mail our Advertising Department with your AlertPay e-mail address or VirtaPay username and advise them to cancel your package.

• You are allowed to purchase and participate in one Advertising Package at a time until your advertisements has expired or you have cancelled your package within 10 business days of your payment.

• If for any reason we are unable to place your banners and text ads on our website within 10 business days after you have submitted your ads to us, you will get 90% of your money back within 5 business days via AlertPay or VirtaPay. You'll also be given a 15% discount on the Advertising Package you had previously purchased after we have refunded your money. Discounts will only be payable via electronic funds transfer using AlertPay or VirtaPay and the offer will be valid for only 45 days.
