There are two Patriot Travel Medical Insurance products designed for international travelers that are available to meet their needs, providing up to US$2,000,000 of medical coverage. Coverage can be obtained from a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of 2 years. Patriot products address the travel medical insurance needs of US citizens and foreign nationals who need temporary medical insurance while traveling for business or pleasure anywhere outside their country of citizenship. Coverage includes medical evacuation, repatriation, and your choice of deductibles and policy limits.

Below are brief descriptions of two three Patriot Travel Medical Insurance products:

1. Patriot America ^®

Patriot America provides coverage for non-US citizens traveling outside their country of citizenship for a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of two years. The plan also provides coverage for non-US citizens returning to their home country if they purchase the Patriot Return rider. Although the plan is not renewable, it can be rewritten for succeeding or subsequent coverage periods.

Examples of persons who need Patriot America:

• You are a Mexican citizen and is traveling to the United States for one month on business.

• You are an Ecuadorian citizen and is traveling to Panama on vacation for six weeks.

• You are a French citizen and is traveling in Asia for five months.

• You are a non-US citizen residing in the US and is returning to his/her home country.

2. Patriot International ^®

This plan provides coverage for US citizens traveling abroad for a minimum of 5 days up to a maximum of two years. Although the plan is not renewable, it can be rewritten for succeeding or subsequent coverage periods.

Examples of persons who need Patriot America:

• Your parents are US citizens traveling to Venezuela for eight weeks and then to Argentina for an additional two weeks.

• You will be traveling with your family on a mission for three months in Latvia.

Patriot Extreme ^® Travel Medical Insurance           For adventurous international travelers and extreme athletics (30 days to three months)

Business traveler (annual coverage)

With Patriot Executive, you purchase coverage for a period of one year and select a maximum trip duration of either 15 days or 30 days on the enrollment form. You are then covered during that year, in accordance to the terms of plan, for the selected trip duration of each trip you take outside of your country of citizenship beginning on the date of departure for each trip.

Examples of persons who need Patriot Executive:

• You are a US citizen, employed by a company with a location within the United States, who travels frequently throughout the year on business, and is covered by an individual or group medical plan while in the US.

• You are employed by a company  located within your country of citizenship, and the company has operations overseas. Your job requires you to travel there six times a year for 20 days each trip. You also take your spouse with you when you travel.

Patriot Executive ^® Group
5 or more Business travelers (annual coverage)

Cultural Exchange Student Insurance Plans (year-to-year)

Designed for students studying abroad or participants of cultural exchange programs. Two plan options are available. Basic short term travel plan is an economical plan while the Standard short-term travel plan is designed to meet the U.S. visa travel insurance requirements. Plans are available in monthly increments and if a minimum of 3 months is purchased, coverage may be renewed (without break in coverage) for a total of 24 months.

Examples of persons who need Patriot Exchange:

A British university is sending 15 students to a US university for a four-year engineering program.

Patriot Group Exchange Program^SM
Group Cultural Exchange Medical Insurance (short-term)

Designed for a group of students studying abroad or participants of a group cultural exchange program.  Three plan options are available.  Basic short-term travel plan is an economical plan. Standard short-term travel plan is designed to meet the U.S. visa travel insurance requirements. 

This long-term annual plan has the flexibility to be tailored to meet specific needs of each program and can be renewed annually.  Plans are available in monthly increments and if a minimum of 3 months is purchased, coverage may be renewed (without break in coverage) for a total of 24 months.

Examples of persons who need Patriot Group Exchange:

• A local high school French club is traveling to Paris for a two-week excursion.

• A group of Chinese university students is coming to the US for a summer internship.
