Travel Protection for trips up to 30
days
Planning a trip is half the fun of traveling.
You select how you're going to travel, where you'll stay, and what adventures
you'll have while you are away. You make your reservations, make the required
payments, update your passport if necessary, and you're ready to go. But what if
you are prevented from taking your trip? What if you become ill or injured
before or during your trip? What if your selected airline or cruise line should
go out of business? Those hard earn payments could be lost.
To help protect you from losing the money you've spent to travel, there is Patriot T.R.I.P.
Patriot T.R.I.P. provides coverage for many of those unforeseen circumstances
that may force the cancellation of your travel plans or interrupt your covered
trip. A covered trip is any travel or sojourn to a destination more than
120 miles from the starting point of the covered trip and not exceeding 30
consecutive days.
With Patriot T.R.I.P., you may recover non-refundable, unused payments and deposits when a trip is cancelled or interrupted for a variety of reasons. Patriot T.R.I.P. provides protection to travelers who are unable to travel or are interrupted during their trips due to circumstances such as
sudden and unsuspected illness or injury, death in the family, jury duty, job layoff, terrorism or the bankruptcy of the tour operator, cruise line or airline. Benefits are also provided for travel
and baggage delays, lost baggage,
emergency medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation and
emergency medical treatment while you are away from home.
Separate from these benefits IMG can provide
non-insurance emergency travel assistance, such as helping you replace lost
travel documents or lost prescriptions, emergency cash transfers, and legal and
medical referrals when necessary. All of these services are designed to make

This plan is for the
international traveler who wants to add a trip
cancellation benefit to their IMG international
medical plan. Patriot T.R.I.P. Lite is available only
as an add-on to a Patriot Travel or Global Medical
policy. This plan provides benefits for trip
cancellation, travel delay and baggage delay.

selected airline or cruise line should go out of

picture perfect vacation, there is Patriot T.R.I.P.
Elite, a travel cancellation insurance program.
The Elite program is our premier trip cancellation
insurance program and provides first-class protection
for all travelers. Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite provides coverage for many of
those unforeseen circumstances that may force the
cancellation or interruption of your covered trip.
There are two programs; one for U.S. residents and for
non-US residents, each designed to cover trips of 30
consecutive days.
Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite offers a high level of benefits to travelers who
need more coverage than provided by the Patriot T.R.I.P. program.
With Patriot T.R.I.P.
Elite, you may recover non-refundable, unused payments
and deposits when a trip is cancelled or interrupted

addition, this program can provide extended limits and benefits for
trip interruption, travel
delays, baggage delays, emergency medical treatment
and medical evacuation while you are away from home.
The
Patriot T.R.I.P. Elite program increases the benefit amount for emergency
medical, emergency medical evacuation, travel delay, baggage, trip
interruption and adds a new benefit for violent attacks.

emergency travel assistance, such as legal and medical
referrals, embassy or consulate referrals, emergency
cash transfers, helping you replace lost travel

Student Travel Insurance Program

passport is updated if necessary, and the required deposits are paid. But what
